It was reported last week on CTV that the Ontario government had a made a decision that the Ontario HST would be applied to the new Ontario Carbon Tax that will be included in gas prices and home heating. In Ontario the 13% HST will apply to the Carbon tax based on the last information made available from the provincial government.
